IS THIS A PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP? I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO USE MY CAMERA
Yes and No. We will cover some fundamental rules in relation to light and composition applied to product photography. However, photographic theory and camera settings will not be covered as such on the day, due to time restrictions.
I DON'T HAVE A CAMERA. IS THIS FOR ME?
The best camera is the one you carry with you. You may think you don't have a fancy camera, but you probably have a phone, and guess what, phone cameras these days are incredible, and perfect for every day photos for your business. So yes, this is for you!
DOES IT MATTER IF I HAVE IPHONE/ANDROID?
Not at all. You can bring whatever phone/camera you have.
DO I NEED TO HAVE PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT TO DO THIS COURSE?
No equipment is required, however a tripod is recommended.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You will receive a video the week before the course starts that will detail everything you need to bring and prepare, and most importantly, why!
DO WE GET A CHANCE TO TRY A LIGHTBOX?
Yes! I know a lightbox is a great resource for SOME products and I always like to use, test and try equipment before investing in buying my own.
HOW BIG ARE THE GROUPS?
I take a maximum of 10 people per workshop.
DO I NEED TO HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO JOIN?
Previous knowledge or experience is not required.
DO WE GET 1:1 ADVICE?
I always try my best to help you with YOUR products. Advice is given to each participant when possible, but due to time limitations we concentrate on skills you bring with you to practise and master.
DO WE GET SUPPORT AFTER THE WORKSHOP?
Of course! You get online support BEFORE & AFTER the workshop through a private Facebook group.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
The fee for this workshop, which typically runs from 10am-4pm, is €350

DO YOU OFFER 1:1 LESSONS?
Yes, I do. I know some of you need full direction of how to take photographs of your products, in your studio. To learn where it is best to place your products according to your light, how to style, edit, even what camera settings are best for your location.
