WORKSHOPS

I recently attended one of Ana's 'Coffee working morning' photography sessions. What I expected was coffee, a run through talk and some handy hints. What I got was not that at all!! What I got was exceptional. Ana had set up a work space for each of us four diverse product makers. She moved to each individual and demonstrated, talked and enabled us to make the most of what we had in order to produce quality photographs. Today I did a 'photo shoot' at home and I am very excited about how the photos turned out! Thank you Ana for your generous sharing of your amazing talent and knowledge. Oh and we dide have coffee and delicious lemon drizzle cake ;)

Ana is a very gifted photographer, stylist and a highly talented trainer. Not only is she all that, she's also very likeable and engaging as an added bonus. Ana designed a 2 day workshop for a group of Cork based designers and makers who wanted to find their own look and identity but just didn’t know where to start.  Ana created a brilliant 2 day programme mixing theory and practice and it was a perfect pitch; participants were encouraged to create their own look, feel and mood boards which said something about them as makers. The practical photo sessions then developed themes further taking product images from all angles and flat lay with continual learning and fun at the same time.  Ana taught the group how to generate ideas, use phones and professional photographic and lighting equipment as well as powerful editing software.  Everyone in the group started as nervous novices and by the end of the 2 days they were excitedly creating photos which are of an incredibly high standard and they’re all looking like pros.  It was amazing to see everyone immersed, engaged, team working, helping each other and looking to book the photo studio space at the end of the programme.  I cannot recommend Ana to meet all your photographic, styling and learning needs highly enough.

Having seen some of Ana's work through a creative group we are both in, Bite the Biscuit, I knew I wanted her to take my product pictures. She had taken some pics for me of my products that she had ordered herself and they just leapt off the screen. The detail was exquisite. I use the photographs she took of my products on my website and on my social platforms and if I'm stuck for something to post about on any given day I just have to look through her photos to feel inspired. She also came to my home to take pictures of me in my garden and it was such a wonderful experience.
